For Healthcare Help Managers, anyone leading a Health Service or for those intending to move into management. We recommend trained managers.
Distance Program
1. You need to have the opportunity for practical experience in a rest home or other health service.
2. Modules are sent to you electronically with resources and instructions
3. Assignments are often work-based
4. Successful completion of assignments gains a mark for each paper
5. Marking is included in each module's fee.
6. Assignments can be re-submitted for the
NZQA Level five course if you enroll in that later on.
7. Resources sent to you include access to ALL Healthcare Help systems plus additional resources for assignments.
The cost per module is $330
Entry Criteria: manager of health service, assitant manager of health service, RN or other clinician or successfully completed HH HCA modules & recommended by manager of health service.
PASS = 60% in each module plus some work-based assessments

Module 4: Health & Wellbeing Strategies for Residents in Aged Care
Module 5 : Develop & Implement Quality Objectives a Health Service
Module 6: Recognise & respond to changes in health & wellbeing
Module 7: Develop & maintain a safe & supportive working environment
Module 8: Knowledge of dementia using a person centred approach
Module 9: Support for people with a dementia if behaviour changes
Module 10: Introduce a staff recruitment & appointment system
